Butterflies, Rainbows, Skittles and Other Good Stuff

So you know the feeling...when you are floating on your very own cloud...feeling like you are high off of something...well, I am officially there!

I love the things he says to me. I love the way he looks at me. I get giddy when I think of him.

Of course, I can't let him know that yet. I have to play it cool and let God work this thing out. It has only been a couple of months since we started talking on the phone. Only a couple of weeks since we have been seeing each other in person.

I pray that this is it...

When Feeling So Right Had Never Been So Wrong...

Yep, I am admitting I was wrong...God did not have "God's Perfect Choice" for me...his perfect choice actually came in a different package all together! Being so wrong has never been so right though...

I am in love!!!! I haven't ever felt like this. The "knowing" is the best part. I have finally experienced all of those things that you hear about. I put emotions to the side and let friendship grow. That was the best thing that I could have ever done.

DC Squared is the best man a lady could ever ask for. Thoughtful, kind, humble, God-revering, loving and genuine are just some of the words I can use to describe him. I am just so blessed!

It took him a while to break through some barriers I had up (for good reason!) but I think he will agree that it has been well worth it.

Qualities of a Godly Mate

1) Constantly seeking a closer relationship to Christ.

2) Integrity – honest to the core

3) Will lead boldly (not selfish or domineering) submits to the leadership of others; can acknowledge when he has made a mistake

4) Will love sacrificially (in his actions, watch his character, does he serve others, how does he react to children and strangers)

5) Laughs heartily (not the class clown but is genuine and freely laughs, not at the expense of others)

6) Models Genuine Humility (Is not stuck on himself, focus is on others) (can be an understudy, can play second fiddle)

The World's Top Model...Esther...

After reading various views on Esther's role in the Bible...I have decided that she is my new role model...
Esther had character, class & clothes...her greatest asset being her Obedience...
God blesses us with the desires of our heart when it is in his will...Esther trusted God and waited on his direction in her life.
Esther also took the time to prepare herself for her King...I am working on preparing myself inside and outside so that I can be presented as the "best" package that I can be...
In this time of waiting to see what God is going to do for myself and his perfect choice for me, I will continue to prepare...
Oh, to be like Esther...

Day Dreaming

I find myself daydreaming about God's Perfect Choice and "our" future together...where is all of this coming from? The thought of someone really loving me back is so exciting! I look forward to the day where I don't have to hold back what I want to say for fear of being told "stop being mushy!" He is affectionate, able to express his thoughts and feelings and a million of other fun things!
